Our brand reputation is also linked to our relationship with our suppliers
For us at ENAV, sustainability also means creating a relationship with its suppliers based on collaboration and complete transparency of information and also due to the fact that a company’s relationship is also linked to all its collaborations along the value chain
For these reasons, in the past two years we have begun a process of analysing our suppliers in order to evaluate their social, environmental and governance performance.

Starting in 2019, we launched the first pilot project to assess the supply chain from an ESG perspective, through which we tested the maturity level of our most significant suppliers. Specifically, we selected more than 70 national and international companies that represent the ENAV Group's strategic supply line according to the following criteria: amount entrusted (so-called “core” suppliers); companies “at risk” according to ATECO and NACE categories. The pilot project involved several management structures of Group companies and allowed us to obtain data and information from our suppliers collected through a dedicated platform and use this information to assess environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance through specific drivers, as well as to identify possible risks related to their sectors, country risks and risks related to factors such as working conditions, resource use and energy consumption. ESG analysis reports related to suppliers were then shared through the platform with the aim of initiating shared paths for improving ESG performance.
This is an important objective also envisaged in the 2021-2024 Sustainability Plan and represents valuable experience thanks to which we are laying the foundation for the new ESG development program dedicated to suppliers that will be launched as part of the ENAV Group's new Sustainability Plan.
Moreover, it can therefore be stated that an effective channel of information exchange has most certainly been established that can help to increase the commitment to ESG on the part of ENAV and Techno Sky and their suppliers also through a future shared path of improvement. Within ENAV’s ERP Oracle Application system, there is also a supplier performance evaluation process, governed by a special procedure, where suppliers are evaluated by the Managers of the relevant contracts/PM on the basis of the following criteria:
• level of compliance of performance with contractual requirements;
• full compliance of the contractual services performed with the SLAs foreseen in the contract.
The individual performance indicators of the supplier make it possible to obtain, using the ERP system, an overall vendor rating index (VRI).
The problems identified and serious breaches (including violation by the contractor concerning the fight against Mafia-type crime, regulations on occupational health and safety pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008 or environmental regulations pursuant to Legislative Decree 152/2006) must be communicated by sending the “Critical issues/blocking events form” to the system (ERP). The procedure for the assessment of Techno Sky suppliers (SAP System) requires, in line with ENAV’s process, a supplier rating that, if negative after the detection of critical issues, is communicated to ENAV in order to adopt the measures described in the above procedure.
In parallel with the development of the supplier analysis process, we have also developed a "Supplier Code of Conduct", the signing of which, together with that of the Code of Ethics, will enable all our suppliers to be not only partners in our business but also in our value system.
