Technical Training:
- Basic/Qualification courses, which take place at the Training Centre, located in Forlì, for the acquisition of basic/advanced technical skills, aimed at the management and maintenance of equipment and systems used for the provision of Flight Assistance Services.
- Type Rating courses, which take place at the airport level, aimed at obtaining the specialization required to operate on equipment and systems locally used for the provision of Air Navigation Services (e.g. Intrumental Landing System, radio receivers/transmitters, Radar etc).
Operations Training:
- Initial Training, which includes all the courses held at the Training Centre, located in Forlì, for the acquisition of basic and advanced skills.
All the courses are certified by the National CAA (ENAC), aimed at issuing the necessary certificates to be able to continue with the local training in an operational position, for the provision of the air Navigation Services (such as Tower Control qualification, Radar Approach control, Flight Information Service, etc)
- Local Training, which includes the specific training that takes place at airport level, aimed at achieving the required local specialization of operational unit, which is a necessary requirement for the issuance of the Air Traffic Controller/Flight Information Service Operator license.
Air Traffic Controller/Flight Information Service Operator Licenses are the only documents that allow the holder to operate as an ATCO/FISO.
ATCO Licenses are issued in accordance with the requirements of EU Reg. 340/2015.
