Thanks to the considerable experience acquired in the international context, ENAV is able to ensure the application of the most appropriate Safety methodology, in line with the applicable regulation and/or national and international common approaches (FMECA, FTA, ETA, Eurocontrol SAM, etc.), thanks to the proactive contribution of our Safety experts within the different international working groups, such as EASA, Eurocontrol, CANSO and other international fora and initiatives.

Thanks to the experience gained with more than 500 ATM Safety Assessments per year, ENAV Safety experts are able to manage any kind of Safety Assessment (including the evaluation of COVID-19 impact on ATM/ANS provision and the “back to normal operation").

Our staff has been carrying out Safety Assessments related to internal major change, i.e. transfer of service provision from APP Units to ACC, implementation of Remote/Digital TWR, new CNS maintenance logics, PinS (point in space) procedures for helicopters, low level route (LLR) along the national territory, changes in airport environment, etc., and is also able to support customers world-wide (i.e. in the last three years we have provided Safety Assessments for: Casablanca CTA, Rabat Tower, airspace reorganization in Kuala Lumpur, new IFPs in Abu Dhabi, etc.).
