Starting from experience gained in supporting key solutions implemented and/or planned by ENAV (i.e.: the implementation of Italian free route airspace (FRA-IT), the implementation of the so-called trombones and PMS for the main Italian airport approach services, the adoption of a PBN Transition Plan to reduce obsolete AIRNAV equipment and to implement an RNAVGNSS ATS network) and from experience acquired in national and international research projects (i.e.: Galileo, EGNOS and SESAR projects) and in activities performed with our international customers (Malaysian Civil Aviation Authority, EAU, Morocco, etc.) our own experts can support you in modernizing the ATS network and Airspace Structure Design. 

To support our customers in airspace structure modernization programs, ensuring compliance with the applicable regulatory framework, to the internal/external requirements, in order to provide safer and more effective airspace management, designing the relevant network in a more effective and sustainable way (i.e.: implementing RNAV/GNSS/RNP approach procedures to support the transition from a ground NAVAID based network to performance based navigation (PBN)), using point-merge techniques to design trombones to enable continuous descent approach (CDA) and to support ANSPs/ATCOs in sequencing landing aircraft and reducing the use of holding patterns in order to increase safety, ATC capacity, on-time performance and predictability, thereby increasing network performance to support aircraft operators in reducing CO2 emissions and fuel burn. 

Taking due account of institutional and stakeholder expectations, social and environmental goals, flexible use of airspace and customer needs, our operational and technical teams with experience gained in national and international airspace structure design activities and in R&D projects and international aeronautical organizations will support you from the CONOPS definition and project feasibility assessment phase in the modernization of the airspace structures and ATM service provision.
