The Meteorological Technology World Expo, with more than 150 exhibitors and thousands of expected attendees from more than 100 countries, is the world's leading event for meteorological, hydrometric and environmental monitoring technologies and services. It will be attended by research institutes, major agencies and industries, as well as companies and sectors in which meteorology plays a major role such as aviation, maritime, agriculture, transportation and renewable energy.

ENAV Group is present with its own exhibition space specially set up for presentations and live demos conducted by our experts who illustrate services and products developed by the Company, in the aeronautical meteorology field:AWOS (Automated Weather Observing System): system for the automation of the meteorological observation service in the airport area

  • e-ATIS (Automatic Terminal Information System): system for the automatic dissemination of meteorological and aeronautical information to departing and arriving aircrafts
  • EDAMS®(Embedded Datalogger for Meteorological Systems): automated meteorological station for the real-time detection of wind, pressure, temperature, humidity and rain data
  • CLODES® (Clouds Detection Expert System): system based on artificial intelligence for the detection of cloud coverage in the airport area

In conjunction with the Meteorological Technology World Expo, the WMO Technical Conference on Meteorological and Environmental Instruments and Methods of Observation (TECO-2024) also takes place, with the theme ‘Measurements and new technologies for WMO priority initiatives.’ During the conference, in the research project poster session, Techno Sky presents .CLODES® (an acronym for CLOuds Detection Expert System), an innovative AI-based system capable of determining automatically via a neural network,  the type of clouds and the relative degree of coverage, information necessary for the production of meteorological reports dedicated to aviation.
