ENAV at the Agricolture and Fisheries G7

Technologies and skills to enhance the region and natural resources

Siracusa, 19 September 2024 - ENAV SpA - the Italian Air Navigation Service Provider - will participate with its own exhibition space at the Agriculture and Fisheries G7, scheduled to take place in Ortigia (Siracusa - Sicily) from 21 to 29 September. The Italian G7 Presidency has set as goals the
application of science and innovation in agriculture for adaptation to climate change and the empowerment of the younger generation as the focus of renewal in the agricultural sectors.

 

For the ENAV Group the event will be an opportunity to show the international audience its activities in the field of meteorology and drone services, offering the agricultural sector all the expertise and systems that the company has developed and is in the process of developing.

ENAV produces daily forecasts at 45 national airports with 9-, 24- and 30-hour validity, issuing more than 1 million observation bulletins each year with weather variables such as wind, pressure, temperature and humidity, using dedicated sensors and systems. The company also provides
historical data, analysis, post-event reports, consulting and climate services for efficient and sustainable climate risk management.The Group is also committed to developing and providing services dedicated to drones, which in the agricultural field can play a strategic role in monitoring and in precision agriculture.
